Ep # 32: Unleashing Authentic Self

32, Podcast May 23, 2020

This particular episode of Wealthy Muslim Women Podcast was a phenomenon. The most awesome Shazia Imam was the podcast guest.

Shaiza Imam is an Indian-American award-winning speaker. Her story has inspired several Muslim women around the world. She went through what most women fear – she lost her baby and her marriage.

However, she did not allow her experience to define her. Instead, it spurred her to help other women with their transformative journeys.

Take away points from the podcast :

Ordinarily, women are taught a whole lot of things by default. We are discouraged from trying something instead of encouraging us to do it. Also, we are taught that we cannot achieve the same things as boys. Yes, it sounds strange, but it is the truth. Again, our parents unconsciously control our actions more strictly than our male peers.

Over time, these beliefs and teachings made most women underutilize their God-given talents. And this becomes a continuous cycle that turns some women into mediocre over time.

Wealth is one such aspect. We create negative roadblocks to building wealth.

The first step to acquiring wealth is to have a money mindset.

If you are passionate about being wealthy, you must have a redefined mindset about money. If you are the woman that always says, “I cannot afford it,” whenever investment opportunities pop up, the chances of you becoming wealthy is slim.

Always have a positive money mindset, even if you do not have the funds to invest in a business idea or opportunity. Be optimistic and take a step towards becoming that wealthy Muslim woman you always aspire to become. Remember, if you do not take action, you may never get to your destination. After all, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.

 Final Note

The first step towards becoming a wealthy woman is always to choose progress over the profession. It may not be very easy, but you can always achieve whatever you set your mind. All you need is one step at a time.
